that makes a lot of sense... I hadn't thought about the investment prejudice but I could sense some sort of prejudice there.

There's also a very huge one for me im learning... I think that when someone tries to tell me I know nothing about a technology I understand very well (especially saying I do not understand something I just read and go read up on it again) it REALLY makes me angry... I think that comes from being female and a tech and people doing so because they see a female tech posting on some forum and their sexism gets in the way of seeing that what I am saying has a factual base - Im female so I must be wrong/stupid/ignorant kind of thing. Thats been the case both times here - where I see things unfolding as that whether they are or are not based on my gender.
