This is why I don't like ReadyBoost as a concept (ignoring it's overall uselessness as I/O to a USB stick is not much (if at all) faster than that to spindle)

If you want something ridiculously fast put gobloads of RAM in the box and forgo the swap, or if you're at the limits of your RAM capacity you can get third-party RAMdisk cards that use standard DDR memory, stick your swap on that, they aren't nearly as fast as system RAM but they're still MUCH faster than disk (the good ones are actually capable of saturating the SATA channel) and they don't have any of the issues SSDs have (obviously they don't work for non-volatile storage (unless you have backup power to them) but they're ideal for swap.
