16GB RAM... how big do you really need to store the most accessed parts of the os, seriously? I already turned off swap file with win7, and the speed is quite nice, especially once I have already run an app once or twice.

Everything is too randomly accessed and too often written to to really have much use for SSDs except as a replacement for optical discs, IMO.

The only times when loading really is an issue is the stuff that's far too big to be practically stored onto SSDs right now en masse, such as games. Eventually with the right setup I might set up a "game" drive, especially since games now mostly store savegames, config files, and such in a preset directory on windows systems.
