It is such an unlikely situation, if I were to stumble onto such a scene it would have to be somewhere accessible to the public. Anywhere else I would not come to by accident, or I would most likely know both parties, definitely know one, changing my initial reaction significantly, especially if one or both protest my interference.

So, given that it would be in public, not only do I feel I should not be responsible for any trauma cause to them, but they should be responsible for trauma caused to me by my witnessing what I perceived to be a rape.
