but, in all seriousness, they are getting better with much of the AML/BSA stuff.

I have seen several situations in trade mags where they have stopped people using the OFAC and other lists. I know for a fact that "my bank" has caught a couple of people trying to sneak in and use our service to "do things" with the checks they do.

It is slowly getting more difficult and, if you want it to move faster than the standard 3 business days...you take an increase risk and increase in cost in doing so. There is a Reason that all major fund transfers go through the FED reserve, tracking and security.

...I just wish they used something beyond and extended punch card format :-D.
