I don't fear surveillance either; but I also never assume that any conversation over the phone (or here, for that matter) is private and can't be tracked back to me. I just assume that if someone is so set on finding out about me that they will go to the trouble of digging it out, they will no doubt find a lot more incriminating/revealing/shocking/whatever facts. It's no big deal - I'm really not that interesting :-)
