powerful? Well-funded? It is, after all, their business model that is best served by restricting Internet access to the point where it is so limited that it corresponds to their outdated business model. I can certainly understand it if their response to new technology is not to change their business model, but to restrict technology to match their outdated assumptions. I just didn't expect any thinking member of a lawgiving assembly to fall for any of their arguments.

Or am I too cynical here?
