And they may well all be mistakes.
However, assuming they are, they certainly won't make us look any worse than we already are.
Assuming some of them aren't (though, I won't speculate which ones are/aren't), he could also be setting a new tone for international relations, more as friends and colleagues than stiff, formal dignitaries.
The ones I've heard of have all been with countries where our ambassadors really don't have much to do, because the POTUS deals directly with the head of that Govt.
Obviously, calling your counterpart by the wrong name is unlikely to be such a thing :P but in relation to some of the others, perhaps.
