Mileage tax vs. fuel tax - "Privacy? What's that?" by Twitchh2009-03-23 08:03:34
Doesn't the US already have toll highways? (n/t) by kahuana2009-03-23 09:04:59
Not as many as you think. by joecrouse 2009-03-23 09:20:43
I don't know about the rest of the nation but here.

Between the tolls at the Delaware line On I 95 and Northern VA.
there are only 2 OTHER tolls. One at The Susquehanna river and the other at the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. And there are dang near 50 exits in between with no tolls on them

So you can get off just about anywhere along that streach and not pay another toll. Till at least exit 49 on I495s West side going out 267 or 123 LeesBurgh. (if your going out towards Reagan International.) and I don't know where there is a toll on 1 95 on the east side of 495.

Sufficient to say there ain't as many as you would think.
