GPS just to measure how far someone is driving is technical overkill AND not the most reliable solution. A more reliable way is to use a distance-pulse or speed-measurement via OBD Bus to calculate the distance (similar to what the odometer is doing) -> higher accuracy, less "tinkerability" and reduced "big-brother" factor!
