Afghan drug war. But into what? They are fighting basic capitalism. You know what that is? It's reinforced behaviour. Might as well try to turn the tide. If they want the afghan to stop producing poppy, try producing our own, and flood the market with it. Take care of our own demand, and price drops, making it more profitable for the afghans to grow something else. But of course that is not the results they are looking for.
