I usually keep records of everything. since I do the majority of my work online it's kind of easy. I print out every e-mail I send out, every conformation I get back when filling out apps, etc. Even if I didn't get any written records, I would still write down what I did and when. To me, I'm in the business of selling myself. I just hope I don't have to rent out advertising space just to get a job......
