Big project programming question by UGuardian 2009-02-10 18:30:04
This is going to sound a bit weird, but is it common for programmers to design a miniature and specialized programing language for a large project to use internally?

Sort of like a custom data format (eg, a variant of XML) that performs actions or directs code?

This is the easier of two evils in the case of one of my projects. It seems rather abnormal to me, but it might be standard fare in some circles.
