Even though they've got it to the point where pretty much everybody claims multiple centuries MTBF at what sound like high write volumes per day, I just can't shake the feeling that I might wear it out prematurely.

Well, time to bite the bullet and do it. No way to get comfy with a relatively new technology (really, only the packaging) like diving in and doing it.
