that "PF usage" display in task manager doesn't actually reflect swap usage; it reflects the total commit charge -- that is, everything in swap plus all of the anonymous pages in RAM. Basically it's your entire VM usage minus any pages that are backed by disk files (executables, libraries, mmap'd data). I would guess that your swap usage is actually 0, and the page faults are mapped pages getting faulted in or something like that. But I think you may need to get some other utility if you want to monitor actual swap usage. Maybe Process Explorer?
