Before landing this job, I was fielding at least 15 potentials a week. The numbers work in your favor when you start flooding. Another tip: I took an interview for something I thought I could use just to get by in the meantime, but ended up turning down the offer because it was so much lower than what was originally pitched. My point is, just because you're trying to get a job offer, doesn't mean you can't turn the offer down. Once you have an offer, it makes your confidence soar and lets you know you're interviewing properly, and it won't be long until you have the job you're looking for. I know you still haven't managed to get the interview yet, but my point still stands.
Also, try hitting up companies that are posting for jobs directly. It sounds like the staffing firms you're going through may never submit your resume to anyone. While you're at it, why not send it my way so I may offer you some pointers? (Email is in the diary.) |
