Urgent care is fast care like an ER without the true emergency factor. It's basically the step between waiting for a doctor's appointment and going to the ER. Usually, the wait's less than an ER, where they obviously have to give preference to saving lives. Since yours isn't in danger of ceasing, although it might feel like it, this might be the best way to get quick care for it. Think of it as the non-emergency room.
