to see it played both ways in congress.
Anyone that is not for the bill as the Democrats want it passed is (to borrow VDP's phrase) "let it burn, we are not in charge." Anyone for the bill as the Democrats want it passed is "adding pork to the barrel" or is "not being fiscally responsible." There *IS* a middle ground here people AND those on *both sides of the political fence* are trying to play their political games as normal and look where it is getting us....nowhere.
There are those on both sides in congress that are doing things for the right reasons. I do not think it is a bad idea to re-examine the bill and what it is funding as long as!!! it is not a stalling tactic and they are actually trying to accomplish something. If I had my way, those congresspeople that were found to be obstructionist for no other reason than they could...would be removed from office....and replaced with someone that would actually try to make forward progress.

Playing the blame game with congress is *easy*, actually doing something usefull and CORRECTLY is not. I don't think we have had an actually useful congress in over 20 years....
