I most specifically *don't* want things to crash and burn, regardless of who's in charge. It was, in fact, one of my biggest beefs with the vocal opposition of the prior couple of administrations was the strangulation gridlock approach to anything that anyone tried to accomplish.

IMO, we're beyond the point where we have the latitude to play those games.
