If this had happened 'on my watch' as a teacher, it would have resulted in an admonishing of getting those toys down in the trunk of the car, where they couldn't be seen, or I would confiscate them, meaning at our school that they can be picked up at the principals office after school's out.
However, judging the schools behavior without very in-depth information... I would hesitate to do. First question from my side would be what the reaction of the pupil was - eg. 'push off, I'll bring them to school if I want, and if the other pupils are frightened because they don't recognize at a distance they are fake, they are idiots and deserve to be scared' would probable result in a rather different reaction on behalf of the school.... |
