Especially if there are still dozends of applications that fulfill these conditions. If you are nice you include a hint about why the application did not made it to the last two dozend. If there are factual inaccuracies there is no way the applicant would be asked for an interview at all. For the position you mention error free communication skills are mandatory - when you have to expect misspellings in error descriptions (like ROM instead of RAM or CPU instead of GPU) it will be a nuisance for the 2nd tier coworkers. No, you're not a jerk here, they are by wasting your time.
