I actually was banned from wearing a certain type of shoe. Nobody else, just me.

There was this guy two grades above me (I was in grade five at the time). And he was a pest and a bully - he wouldn't leave me alone. So, since I was wearing clogs (due to a slight problem with fallen arches), I let him have it. Kicked those nice, wooden clogs at him. Fire one! Fire two! Got him in the forehead; caused a nicely bleeding head wound that had the teacher on yard duty taking him to emergency.

He didn't bother me again. But I was no longer allowed to wear clogs. I had to make do with clog boots -- wooden clog soles, but a full boot attached. Much more difficult to use as projectiles :-P
