were at my high school. Canes were banned at my school. One kid had a "House" style limp. Some guys made his life difficult for to long and he clocked their leader. Nice big thick hickory cane to the skull made a sastisfactory thunk sound. One bully down 3 more were ready to jump. I happened to be passing through to class and stuck around to see if odds needed to be evened. 3 decided it wasn't worth the lumps to mess with the little guy with the cane. Canes got banned shortly there after
