that in the future if three strange men in normal clothes pile out of a van and scream "police, you are under arrest" that she is to believe them and let them handcuff her and take her with them and not struggle, and not scram for an adult that they know???.... um...NOT HAPPENING!

If it had been me, those officers would have been lucky to not have a firearm pulled on them until they Identified themselves *PROPERLY*, released her, and got a supervisor over there FAST!!.

In this case...(with the information given) the officers reacted improperly IMO, at the incorrect address, and all charges against the family should be dropped and the officers at the very least fined and sent to remidial courses in police behavior. If I was the family I would *definitely* have a case filed against the officers and the galveston PD for allowing it to happen.
