Impedance Z = U / I.
But the only way you have impedance is with AC. (220V power input) With DC, you don't have a Impedance that would be different than the real resistance. R = U / I, and thus would have the same behaviour on the multimeter. In my previous post I mentioned 'give or take a few ohm', because no transformer is perfect, and I'm not sure if, on AC, any components after the transformer would have much effect.
I've graduated in Electronic engineering, but that was years(!) ago..
