All that padding for a little body contact- huh. Imagine a plastic "cup" about 2mm thick with a padded edge "protecting" your manly bits being hit by a Cricket Ball at around 140-160 KMh.

You wonder why the poor batsman goes down like a dropped schoolbag when hit.
