he has no say in the matter :-o If her doctor decides that it is in her best interest not to talk to you, then he can prevent you. But not your dad. Unless he has another hold on you, such as you living at home, or being supported by him. However, it might help to calmly ask him why he believes this to be a good thing. Is he trying to protect you or your sister? And from what?
