dont think you mean the same thing in repeating.

There's repeating in Illiads sense, which is
K: So when should we meet?
J: Gota go pick up the kids, eat a meal with the wife, get changed... So, 6:30, right
K: yeah ok, meet at 6:30, <--- your type of repeating, aka Echoing
J: yeah, 6:30, and i'll bring the beer, you bring the snacks.
K: Snacks, yeah, not a problem.
J: blah blah blah, so 6:30, you bring the snacks, don't be late...

J is the person that Illiad would find annoying, not K, if im reading him right
K echo's J when given instructions, giving him time to absorb it, as well as confirming he's understood whats being asked.

J is just repeating and repeating and repeating.

Do I read you right Illiad?
