Valuable Insights on Communications by Illiad2009-02-03 11:42:01
going to argue on the repeating factor though.. by Garrinka 2009-02-03 18:09:42
for some people (like me) who have associative issues..

repeating something several times solidfies it in my brain..

sometimes the first time its said just doesn't "click"..

and I have to repeat it either to myself or out loud to make sure the point sticks in my head..

once its locked in though.. I can bring it up on a moments notice..

its how I overcome my learning disablity .. by memorizing things..

numbers , dates, spellings etc... (take for instance it took me *3* times to type "etc" right .. because I kept getting the t and the c mixed up )

so I apologize for it being annoying.. but I don't know how else to operate...

(ever been berated or called "stupid" because of something you can't control.. its not *fun*)..

took me *forever* to learn my times tables.. not because I was *stupid* it was because I couldn't keep the numbers straight in my head..

you have to remember I went to school before learning disablities were "caught"..

just my 2 cents..
