I downloaded 'Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.15.3 for Ubuntu 8.04+'
Ubuntu 8.04 is just what I have in use at present. (And until a few days ago Flash worked without an itch for the first 3 to 8 times started - the more frequent I initiated a use of Flash the more flaky the performance became)
