I guess one of the root questions boils down to th by Classic_Jon 2009-02-03 14:12:54
Is there really an honest politician in our govt right now that can meet the standards Obama set? Can he himself meet those standards?

Much like people said about Sarah Palin and her views on sex ed when her daughter becasme pregnant, when you hold yourself to high standards you had better apply them to the people around you as well. Now, that being said, this whole thing about them vetting the people closely before nominating them should have brought this up sooner IMO. Obama set some High standards with his campaign promises and, so far, he has mad a big deal of making statements and signing Executive orders but, I have yet to see a lot of substance and *how/plannin/doing* of those EO's as of yet.

As I have said before...I am going to wait and see what happens for the forst 100 days and wait for the trends to start to set in before going one way or the other.
