They tend to be very picky on who they hire, MIT is the only recruiting event the engineering department actively attends. It's not that they don't consider people from other schools, just that the noise levels tend to be too high to make it worth the effort of attending. I've only worked at 3 different places but this is definitely the most competent engineering group I've ever worked with. Apparently having $company on your resume is a considered a plus by other firms in the area. And no, I have no idea how I slipped through the net. IIRC they are looking for software (especially embedded and controls stuff), hardware and mechanical engineers. The jobs would mainly be in Sunnyvale, CA. email me if you want more info.
