I use them when I need to post photos of something for a specific reason, such as when I passed along a waterbed frame to a friend; Picasa's webspace provided a convenient spot to put up the sequential disassembly pics which, taken in reverse, became the setup guide. I may eventually use it for a photo album of shots that have some lasting significance, but I have neither the time nor the images to do that at the moment.
