Which is better for watching a DVD on: by toysbfun2009-02-03 08:29:25
From what viewing distance? by Menetlaus 2009-02-03 08:47:14
The typical resolution of a dvd is 720x480 (IIRC) while a standard def TV is 640x480 so you lose a little bit of resolution using the TV, but if you were watching from across the room the extra few inches of viewing area would be better (IMHO) than a slightly better picture.

If your close enough to both, the monitor will have the better picture.
