"I'm not so bad as long as there are others who are worse." Israel's not so bad...sure, they kill civilians, but they're not terrorists like Hamas. The US isn't so bad. Sure, we torture people, but we're not terrorists like Al Queda. Every man is moral in his own eyes. I'm sure that members of Hamas and Al Queda feel perfectly justified in their actions, too, because they see us as the bad people. It doesn't change the fact that both sides are reprehensible in their actions.
