the most unusual way I've paid someone for something was one time when I worked at a truck stop that had a shower room for truckers, I locked the key in the shower room, and it was the only copy we had. Boss probably would have murdered me, or at least taken the cost of them bringing in a locksmith out of my pay. So I called my brother (who is a locksmith) and he came and opened it for me. Just so happened that Christy Swanson, who he's always had a huge thing for (probably the biggest celebrity crush he's ever had to this day) was in that month's issue of Playboy. So I paid for his gas and bought him a copy.
