Are the perlon strings taking forever to stretch by Concept 2009-01-29 20:58:50
out? I went through a phase of trying out different strings on my cello, and on my instrument at least, the synthetic core strings just felt terrible. These days I use a Larsens on the A and D, and Thomastik Spirocores on the C and G. The overall sound is perhaps a bit brighter than I'd like, but it feels good and the sound is even across all the strings.
