House temp dropped to 13C in the warmest room. Thankfully we had an electric space heater to use in our bedroom and one for the bathroom. My wife is pregnant and gets cold easily.

I have a contract with the oil company to top up the tank every 5 weeks. The oil company had neglected to fill my tank for 10 weeks and the tank went dry. One visit for them to refill the tank (840L) and then another visit the next day when the furnace had refused to start. Turns out air got into the oil feed hose from the tank running dry.
