a terrorist, it would be a safe bet to have him next door. After all, he's not going to perform terrorist activities in his own home. He'll be leaving his home to do that, so a terrorist is not as dangerous when he's at home. ;)

Myself, I would not have a problem living next door to either a Muslim or an atheist, and I consider myself a "deeply religious Christian," being an active member of the Roman-Catholic Church. Just because I'm Christian does not mean everybody I know has to be as well.

For that matter, many of my friends, past and present, consider themselves to be atheist or agnostic. Never been friends, that I know of, with anyone who is Muslim, however. Though that is from a lack of Muslims in my geographical area, more than anything else. If one moved in next door to me, I'd certainly make friends with him/her, if he/she were willing.
