But I still feel that it's not enough to call "hypocrisy". Bad overmarketing of the initial rule, sure! A bad move to chase ex-lobbyists when making such a rule, definitely. But they're sticking 99.99% to their word, and making the exceptions public. How many times have recent administrations said one thing, then quietly turned around and did the opposite, and THEN denied that they ever said what they said in the first place?
