I am of two minds by voxwoman 2009-01-29 11:42:10
about the "last airbender" live action movie.

Mind 1: I think a L-A remake of this story is not a very good idea; typically this sort of thing ruins the story. They have also cast all white people as leads (which is causing a lot of furor in some fandom communities, and how I found out about the thing in the next paragraph).

Mind 2: they are holding open auditions in Philly in 2 weeks for extras (they are shooting the film in Philly! I am both excited and WTF over that) - and voxkid and I (and probably a lot of other people from here) will be going. I can't pan a film in which I would appear, can I?
