did you know it is possible to use paypal va direct debit from your bank account if it supports it? All you gotta do is sign up for one, and 'verify your account'. It then gives you small change amounts of currency, and asks you to tell it those amounts to confirm the account is yours, and then you can send money to people sans credit card. Of course, if you dont have a paypal account because you think paypal/ebay is evil, then this is no help, but its a thought.
