it shouldn't IF a corrct type of anti-corrosion is applied when mounting. I've actually seen cases where a 3.5ton van was driven (rather tough) with loose bolts without the wheel coming off. The combined force of a large crowbar and sledge did the trick...

On a personal car they should not be that tough... Forceful kicking on the outside (or sledgehammer via a piece of wood) alternating around the rim on the outside does the trick. But the car must be secured in lifted position, not only on the jack!!!

When mounting apply a good grease (I'm using CRC's Powerlube or Würth HHS Grease). Another alternative is copper or aluminium paste but DO NOT use copper if you have light alloy wheels!).
And of course... no grease on the brake discs.

(Normal time for changing for wheels when using a lift ~15mins :-) )
