I just tried to switch tires myself by Spisefisken 2008-10-31 05:20:42
I need to go from summer tires to winter tires. I have never done this myself before.
The front worked fine and I felt good about. Then I unwinded the bolt from one of the rear wheels. No problems there except that the tire was still attached. No matter what I did it stayed there. I then had my coworkers look at it as well. Nothing helped.
Okay, perhaps it is just this one tire so I tried the last one. This one was also stuck. I call the place where I bought the car 10 months ago (and it was brand new) and they said that they would do it, but it would cost me, because they say it is normal use that can do this.
After talking to the boss of this guy I have gotten them to do it for free, but they still claim that nothing is wrong with the car.
I will only go there to get things done covered by the guarantee.
