I had no idea! He is quite the idealist. Advocates open SW or no SW. Commercial SW free to schools = drugs to children. Lesser evil to share music/CD/DVD/SW with friend than to withhold from friend. Sharers are not "pirates". Pirates attack ships. Media bends truth, blunts issues. We should be debating whether Bush belongs in prison, not how well the war is succeeding.
Linux OS is not "Linux". Is really GNU + Linux. Linux is only the kernel. Torvalds will not defend his freedom. Defending your freedom = Use only purely free SW.
Copyright SW & SW patents stifle creativity, knowledge, growth. Only encourage lawsuits. Must give open SW to schools & encourage kids to play, develop, learn, & share.
