Back in 2000ish, I took Game Desgin back at Full Sail. Their lappys were this fairly good but obscure brand, and it only had one major flaw for what they were used for. Ever test programs with memory allotments and find that it can't zero out its own memory every single time? Multiple reboots just to clean its cache out after an extensive programming and live debugging session.

The instructors were quite well aware of that memory leak in the processor arcitecture. They switched to Sony VIAOs the next year after. :P
