It is, once again, testy's personal rant time. Feel free to ignore me while I de-stress.
To those of my co-workers who apparently don't know better: If I send you a business-related instant message asking whether you've had a chance to review an error message which was e-mailed to you yesterday, I expect (and reasonably so, I might add) more information than the simple, one-word reply, "yes".
Further, if I reply with another IM, requesting those details I so reasonably expected the first time, it'd be nice if you could get back to me sometime before you go home two hours after I sent said reply!
Oh, and when you see it tomorrow, don't you DARE get angry with me about the email I just sent with a full history of our exchanges, again requesting details, and which, btw, was CC'ed to your supervisor.
To my felllow UFies: That is all, thanks for listening. I appreciate your allowing me to blow off steam. Feel free to go back to whatever you were doing
For clarification, this was not the only stress-inducing item that came across my desk today, but it was definitely the one that toppled the poor proverbial camel. |
