Phoon got banned. He wasn't banned for expressing an opinion; he was banned for continuing to do so in an antagonistic manner after repeated warnings from the mods and from Illiad himself.
So long as you give thought ot your stance and opinions, express yourself considerately, and heed warnings if they are given, I see no reason to fear to post anything that adheres to board rules.
