what I said that way now. That was not the intent. My intent was to show that there was an incorrect statement no matter who said it. I do agree with you that many people are picking apart whe the other says and yes that is irritating to me as well when used negatively. My intent was only for correct informational purposes and not to say "OMG Obama is stupid" that was not my intent at all! I believe Obama is a very intelligent man, seriously!, but I do think that he knows next to nothing about firearms and it shows in his voting record on 2nd amendment issues. On the second part of my point: Let me put it this way, how can you make an informed decision on something you do not know much about? I would bet that if I handed him two AR-15 platform carbines and asked him which one was illegal and which one was not...he could not tell me. If he is pushing gun control, then IMO he should know what he is talking about. He does not have to be an expert but, he should be alb to at least have a minimum level of knowledge. To do anything else is irresponsible. Take a look on youtube and search for the videos called "that pesky assult weapons ban" and they specifically talk about the Va tech shootings and what an "assault weapon" is and is not. It will probably surprise you a great deal....
