Is it an "income tax cut" or a "payroll tax cut"? by merlin2008-10-21 09:38:24

                    Question: by DesiredUsername 2008-10-21 13:53:05
Does this actually give them MORE THAN they their wages?

If I earn $7/hr, and work for 8hrs a day, then my wages for that day are $56. Normally, from that the SS taxes would be removed.

Will this plan end up giving me more than $56, or just eliminate that SS tax so I get (up to) the full $56?
